Peering through the seaweed

This is one of my favourite images because of the circumstances when I took it. I had watched the otter swimming in to the shore and had tried to position myself where I would get a good view of it.

In fact it came in much closer and suddenly appeared out of the seaweed. I think we frightened each other but I managed to get this one photo before the otter disappeared. It wasn't too scared though - it soon appeared a little further away and completely ignored me. 		Otter 038 O
