Common frog and spawn

Early spring time and frogs begin to congregate in their spawning pools. Many will return to the same place year after year.

In our garden we have a small pool and a larger pond and the frogs seem to prefer the smaller pool. It's only about 3' x 3' and yet there can be over 30 frogs in it at any one time.
